Seungjeon Observation Post is a front-line observation post operated to observe enemy activities. It is where the “1.21 Infiltration Lane” used by the North Korean military to infiltrate into South Korea is located, allowing visitors to take a closer look at the vigorous activities of the North Korean soldiers. In addition, various military facilities of the North as well as North Korean soldiers are visible from here with the naked eye, and visitors can see the wide open area of Yeoncheon Plain through a telescope. The 25th Infantry Division of the Army offers visitors to the opportunity to take a walking tour of the 1.21 Infiltration Lane and to view it from the Seungjeon Observation Post, as well as participate in the educational system.
