Jaein Falls is one of the most representative attractions of Yeoncheon. It is a scenic view created by the Hantangang River. It offers the best view among the nine scenic views of Yeoncheon, and the diamond-like white current and the emerald-colored pond below it captivates your mind in an instant to linger for longer.

The Hantangang River, which winds its way through Yeoncheon, has a landscape created by the cooled lava that erupted about 270,000 years ago. It boasts picturesque scenery along the entire the river. Among them, Jaein Falls is famous for its glistening wake of streams falling below the black basalt columnar joints, which are comparable to Cheonjiyeon Falls in Jeju Island.

To view the Jaein Falls, you can stand on the transparent glass floor of the Sky-walk Observatory and enjoy the mysterious yet giddy scenery that unfolds beneath your feet.
